1st unit – FOOT REFLEXOLOGY CERTIFICATE
(CLASSIC AND ADVANCED) (98 h)
Foot Reflexology is anchored on the principle that reflex zones in our feet are deeply connected to different parts of our body: our organs, intestines, main skeletal areas, glands and nervous system. This type of treatments helps clients regain their body’s healthy balance, release toxins and promote each cell’s restoration abilities.
We start by using the classic Fitzgerald method (hand and foot), following traditional intervention maps and protocols to establish a strong physiological and energetic equilibrium.
We touch upon foot conditions, using a holistic and symbolic approach, and also upon business practices: relationship with the client and marketing strategies.
We will then wrap up the protocol in order to learn how to work professionally and holistically, follow advanced reflexology maps and use reflexology sticks. The latter were designed by Karl Axel Lind, the father of contemporary reflexology.
This unit will give therapists the knowledge and practice they need in order to therapeutically influence the body starting at the ear. They can promote their clients’ well-being and help them regain their natural balance in a non-invasive fashion.
With this course, students can practice Foot Reflexology professionally, as a complementary skill or by personal interest.
